Basic Requirements on Media’s Identity

If you want to publish additional information, please provide it here.
Publika follow the Georgiran Charter of Jouranlistic Ethics, it's an external body who have called on the government to take practical steps to improve the media environment. Publika does not currently implement a formal policy guidelines for ensuring the safety of journalists. Instead, decisions regarding safety are made on a case-by-case basis, depending on the content and circumstances. For instance, if a video has been recorded covertly and its publication might provoke public debate, the material is shared without revealing the identity of the journalist. This approach is followed even in cases where the recording might technically constitute an administrative violation under the law, as it serves to the public interest.
