Between social media, holding those in power accountable, and pressures in the newsroom, election reporting is clearly one of the most difficult situations in journalism to navigate. In this video, The Thomson Foundation asked various media professionals, including the Ethical Journalism Network’s founder and president, Aidan White, and advisors Cherian George and Tom Kent, what they think are the main challenges facing journalists who take on covering an election.
